Our class blog is an opportunity to share our thinking and our learning with each other and our community (school, local and global). To do this it is essential that we understand what it means to be a blogger and how we can share in a constructive and secure way using the internet.
The following are some simple guidelines to help you on your way to becoming a successful blogger expert! Blogging is a different way of reflecting upon our learning and helps to develop our skills in thinking, writing and using the keyboard.
Student work will only be identified by first names. All comments (and other postings) should have first names only.
Parents who post comments are requested to use first names only. Examples of signatures may include: Anita; 'Sam's mum'; 'Jimmy's grandmother'; 'Melissa's cousin in Lautoka'; etc.
Inappropriate or sloppy writing will be removed from the blog. Please be positive and constructive.
Proof-read your comments carefully. Students should have a family member check for spelling mistakes before submitting a comment.
Students will be guided as to how to write blog entries as well as edit and revise before posting.
Always write in full sentence and words - no "text talk" thanks.
